Role + Responsibilty

Groo is an online platform that connects users to vetted mentors from across the globe in a virtual setting. My task was designing a new brand and online experience. The main goals of this site were to educate users about the product, drive account creation, and prompt users to schedule a session with a mentor.

Page Flows

We conducted internal testing of page flows for a multitude of scenarios. Some of these included log in flows, account creation, and scheduling flows. Collaboration with the leadership team at Groo, as well as their development team helped create a defined user experience.

Informative Content

I was tasked with creating content that highlights both the process and the offering. This included using step-by-step UI to showcase how the process works and detailed mentor pages that quickly show their individual areas of expertise and experience. Flexible content like pre-footer CTAs allow each page to have unique messaging, whether it’s signing up for a free trial or learning more about becoming a mentor.

New Logo & Branding

Created a brand that is modern, bright and inviting. Using elements from the logo mark to create moments throughout the website. Minimal use of color creates high contrast between elements against an appropriate amount of whitespace.
